Same thing happened to me. I had a cartilage piercing and my earlobes pierced, two out of three got infected, so I just took them all out. Sometimes I think about getting piercings again but it’s not worth it to me to risk infecting my body again.

That’s how I’m feeling. I loved the look of my cartilage piercing and it was fun but I just don’t know if it will be worth it in the end.  My two lobes are fine thus far so I’m not too worried about them. I just think I’m not going to get anymore since this fiasco.

Plus, I usually let my long curly hair down, so whenever I do pull it back, it just tugs on my cartilage piercing and I am sure that is exactly why my piercing got infected. :( Just not worth it.

This is also why I don’t get how a lot of girls, especially some of my friends, can get belly button piercings and they get infected quicker and more often than other piercings, and they just push through with the infection. I know a few people that had an infection for 3 months!
